About Heartstone

Bridging the Gap Between Plans and Reality.

Heartstone was created around a simple belief: luxury construction needs someone on the project who understands how the entire house actually comes together.

Modern residential construction has become increasingly fragmented. General contractors are managing larger teams, more subcontractors, more consultants, more products, and increasingly complicated designs.

Too often, project managers are failing forward through schedules, budgets, meetings, and documentation without the practical field experience required to understand how the work is actually coming together.

At the same time, individual trades naturally concentrate on their own scope. One trade solves a problem in the easiest way for them. Another works around it. Someone else assumes the condition was intentional. The project keeps moving.

Eventually those decisions collide at the finished surface.

That is the gap Heartstone was created to close.

Heartstone brings practical construction experience back into project leadership. We look beyond whether individual scopes are technically complete and focus on whether every decision contributes to the finished home as a whole.

“A luxury home is not a collection of independent scopes. It is one finished product.”

Field experience

We See What Others Miss.

Some of the most expensive construction problems are not dramatic failures. They are details that were overlooked: a connection that was never installed, a structural condition that was never fully coordinated, a trade working from an assumption, a field condition that does not match the drawings, or a decision that appears insignificant until several other trades build around it.

Heartstone looks for those problems early. We review plans critically, compare the drawings to actual field conditions, understand how different trades affect one another, and identify issues while they are still practical to correct.

Plans are not enough. We compare design intent with what is actually happening in the field.
Scopes are not isolated. We look at how structural, MEP, envelope, finish, and specialty work affect one another.
Completion is not verification. We do not assume that because work is covered, paid, or marked complete, it was executed correctly.
Small misses compound. The earlier a conflict is identified, the simpler and less expensive the correction tends to be.
A spreadsheet cannot see a bad detail. A schedule cannot recognize poor workmanship. A meeting cannot replace someone who understands what is happening in the house.

Real examples

Evidence, not decoration.

These drawings show the difference between managing a project administratively and understanding what the plans require in the field.

Incomplete Structural Coordination

Heartstone reviews drawings with the field in mind, identifying structural information and coordination issues that need to be resolved before they create confusion, delay, or rework during construction.

Structural Hardware Omitted in the Field

The approved structural drawings clearly required tension ties and connection hardware at these locations. During review before closing, Heartstone identified that the required structural connections shown in the plans had not actually been installed in the house.

The plans were correct. The construction did not match them.

Missing Structural Beam Identified

In this example, Heartstone identified that a structural beam required at the circled opening had been omitted. A missing structural element can affect sequencing, framing, finishes, engineering, inspections, and multiple downstream trades if it is not caught early.

The Heartstone philosophy

One House. One Vision.

Luxury construction is not created during the final week of a project. It is created through thousands of decisions made correctly along the way.

It is knowing how framing today affects millwork months from now.

It is understanding how mechanical routing affects architectural ceilings.

It is coordinating electrical placement with cabinetry before either trade installs its work.

It is protecting waterproofing before finished materials cover it.

It is making expectations clear before a subcontractor starts.

And it is catching a problem while the correction takes an hour instead of discovering it after five other trades have built around it.

Heartstone looks at the entire house as one coordinated finished product.

Communication & accountability

Clear Expectations. Real Accountability.

Some of the most frustrating construction problems begin with the phrase: “No one told us.”

The subcontractor says the expectation was never communicated. The project manager believed the subcontractor understood. The designer assumed the contractor was coordinating it. The contractor assumed the trade knew what was required. And the homeowner assumed someone was checking.

Heartstone closes those gaps.

We establish expectations. We verify the work. We document important decisions. We coordinate between scopes. And when something goes wrong, the first priority is solving the problem rather than spending days determining whose problem it should have been.

Accountability is not about creating conflict. It is about making the standard clear enough that everyone involved has the opportunity to meet it.

The Heartstone team

The Right People for the Project.

Heartstone is founder-led, but every successful luxury project requires specialists.

Depending on the needs of the house, Heartstone may coordinate:

Skilled tradespeople
Carpenters and finish crews
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing specialists
Structural engineers
Architects and designers
Waterproofing specialists
Roofing professionals
Specialty contractors
Manufacturers and vendors
Technical consultants
Project management and field support
Other project-specific expertise

We do not force every project into the same structure. We assemble the resources the project actually needs while clients maintain one clear point of leadership.

Heartstone

Restore Control.
Protect the Investment.
Finish Well.

Whether the project has stalled, workmanship has slipped, critical details are being missed, or the homeowner simply wants stronger construction oversight, Heartstone brings clarity, coordination, and experienced field leadership back to the project.
